Born in Texas, USA, Eddie Rivera built a successful corporate career working for companies like Microsoft, while traveling extensively across the globe.
In 2008, while living in Seattle, Washington, he discovered the APA and quickly fell in love with the fun, camaraderie, and community the League fostered. While working remotely in Singapore, Eddie developed a deep appreciation for the country and its vibrant culture.
Inspired to combine his passion for pool with his love for Singapore, Eddie made the bold decision in 2022 to leave the corporate world behind and dedicate himself full-time to building APA Leagues in Singapore.
Since then, he hasn't looked back—committed to growing the APA family and bringing people together through the sport he loves
APA of Singapore is part of the American Poolplayers Association, the World's Largest Amateur Pool League. With more than 260,000 members throughout the United States, Canada, Japan and Singapore, APA awards nearly $2 Million in guaranteed prize money every year during the APA Championships!
